Classic Man aka Wayne Gardiner (born September 13, 1967, in New York, USA) is a house music producer and DJ known for his deep house releases in the early 1990s. He recorded under several aliases, including Classic Man , Eminence (2) , Essence , Sound Source , and Track Masters . As Classic Man , Gardiner released influential deep house records such as "Rapid Winds" and "Love" primarily on the label Strictly Rhythm. Under the alias Logic , he produced the tracks "The Final Frontier" and "The Difference," both considered foundational works in New York's house music scene. Throughout the 1990s, Gardiner was active in the underground house circuit, releasing music on key labels like Strictly Rhythm , Right Area Records , and Nervous Records . His work is characterized by jazz-influenced chord progressions, soulful rhythms, and a minimalist approach typical of early deep house.
