Satoshi Tomiie is a Japanese DJ and producer based in New York. He had early success in 1989 with "[m=61791]," a co-production with Frankie Knuckles . In the early 1990's, he toured with Ryuichi Sakamoto , and has become known for remixes of artists including U2 , Mariah Carey , Photek , Simply Red , and David Bowie .

At the turn of the millennium, Satoshi introduced a new club sound via 1999’s "[m=86868]," album that helped define a developing house scene. The single "[m=86910]," became a worldwide underground hit.

In 2015 he launched new label Abstract Architecture and released his 2nd album "[m=855842]"
