As always, let’s put the spotlight on the artists & labels where it should be. I’m a huge fan of the short-lived t:me label out of Nottingham that existed between 92-94 so let’s start with that, go check it out on Discogs. 2nd track, this is @corriemuzak on @tremendorecordings curated by @djteeth, a superb choice for a repress. The Boy’s Keep to The Beat is a bit of secret weapon on Thumpin’, a rowdy side of Charles Webster perhaps?

What else… some Bobby Parker of course on Monster Funky. The He-Men from Tone Dropout #12, Battle Cat is a great name for a track mind you. And a huuge track from 2 Bitches from Queens aka @matthewstylesharris on House Of Styles, from 2014. Off to Lat Am next with @calypsorecs and @sebastientex – this one’s off their excellent Calypso vol II comp, all killer no filler. More t:me stuff + JÄK-87 @a_jake_holland on the great @freeuniversenyc -> which nicely mixes in to one of my absolute favorite releases of recent times on @klassewrecks by @d.j.steve & @kwakemusic, just massive, this.

Acid Elaine by @ghost_assembly_music has a mix for every occasion, here I went with the Smiley Mix. And rounding it off with a forthcoming @echocentricrecords @martin.noise & @javierferreira__ banger Acidisimo, more info soon!

Lastly, keep your eyes on @manpowermusic. I really mean it, it’s rare to see someone put so much effort into nurturing and growing a local scene like Geoff does. Bringing the attention to the crowd and the connections is what this social media sphere really needs. That’s enough rambling – support the artists you like, go out dancing, be nice, practise the principle of charity, buy the music you love ☮️💟
